Alive in Africa!

Just a very quick post to give you all a short update. Apologies for the lack of blogging, but when surrounded by some of the most amazing nature and wildlife on the planet, it's not at the top of my priority list.
Harnas Wildlife Foundation here in Namibia is a magical place. If you're ever lucky enough to travel to this beautiful African country you MUST visit. So far I've snuggled with cheetahs - both adults and cubs, I've cleaned out a leopard enclosure - with 3 leopards present! I got lots of head butts from them! I've fed an almost fully grown male lion water from my hand - his tongue was literally the same size as my hand! I've gotten lost in the bush with a caracal kitten and received many a scratch from the famous thorny acacia tree. I've tracked a released cheetah and her wild cub. The list, and the animals, goes on. Today we're visiting the neighboring local tribes, known as the San people, and tonight I'm sleeping under the stars with Atheno the cheetah. We also have a little black and white cat who sleeps on our bed every night that we've fallen head over heels in love with. All so AMAZING!...
But this isn't even the half of it. Stay tuned for a more detailed and illustrated (with photos I promise!) blog post after my return on August 25th.
