Cat Tee Mission Welcomes Lilly Piri
When I first launched Artist Exchange I talked about my two favourite artists, who I'd love to get on board. Never did I think those two lovely ladies, would actually happily get on board. We just finished selling our Harriet Gray tees and hoodies, featuring an illustration drawn just for us, and now this month, we welcome the amazingly talented Australian artist, Lilly Piri!
Lilly hails from sunny Queensland and works predominantly in coloured pencil, creating intricately detailed dreamy artworks, featuring cats, dogs, deer, girls, and more. She also works in acrylic paints and sculpture from time to time too.
The artwork Lilly has been so kind to donate to us for the month of April is the adorable Galactic Kitty (below), originally painted with acrylics.
Lilly has had major success as an artist, which makes it just that little bit eatra special to have her on board. She has had three solo exhibitions, the first at Thinkspace Gallery, Los Angeles, followed by solo shows at Bourgeois Pig Gallery in Heidelberg, Germany and Melbourne's Lamington Drive Gallery. Her work has been in numerous group shows in Australia, the UK, USA and Germany, and her work has been featured in Frankie, Yen, Empty, Semi Permanent, Curvy and many other publications.
If you're an artist and would like to donate one of your kitty artworks to Artist Exchange for a month, click here for all the details. And remember, 100% of all proceeds are donated to our 5 cat rescue partners. Cute tees for an even cuter cause!
