Do you have a story to share?

I know a lot of people who read my blog and like my FB page, love to share stories of how their furry kids came into their lives. And some people like to share all of their stories - the hardships they've faced, the achievements they've made, the good times and the bad. If you are one of those people, you must check out 'A Girl and a Lost Art'.

A Girl and a Lost Art was started by my friend's student Melissa, who is in her last year of high school and is working on something a little different her final artwork. Melissa is doing a documented form for her artwork, and needs people from all over the world and from all walks of life to write her a letter. It can be about your kitty, or about anything! Its a really cool and original idea.

I personally love writing letters. In fact, I have been writing - with a pen and paper - to my great aunty Ann in England since I was just a little girl. She is the only person I still go to the post office to post a letter to. And I get a lot of satisfaction from it.

If you're interested in being a part of an Aussie student's artwork, you can check out all the details, including the mailing address, here. I think its a great idea and am hoping as many of you as possible will get on board, and also share this with your friends.

You may be wondering what this has to do with cats. Well as I said, I've had a lot of people share their kitty stories on my FB wall, and some of those stories are unbelievably special and deserve to be shared. Also, Melissa is a cat lady in the making, with 3 of her own! So, we love her.

One of Melissa's cats, Stormy. Adorbs!
