Shelter Cat Saturday

Today you get to meet a very special young man. Sammy the formerly feral feline who is currently in foster care in Sydney with CatRescue. CatRescue are one of few organisations in Sydney who also work in the area of TNR.

Sammy's online profile can be viewed here, or read on for more info.

"Sammy is a wonderful success story. He was found when he was about 12 weeks and had been living rough with the cat colony since he was born. It only took two days for our carer to have Sammy purring madly and he hasn't stopped purring since. He is an extremely affectionate little man who just loves snuggling into his carers neck and also gives the most gentle little loves bites. Sammy also loves playing and is a lot of fun to have around. Whilst Sammy is very close to his two carers, he is still shy with other people but comes around fairly quickly if they are quiet and gentle. Sammy would be best suited to a quiet environment with no children and no other cats."
