Shelter Cat Sunday - Special Edition

Every now and then I like to go out of my way to look for a specially abled cat to featured for my weekend rescue cat advertisement. Today you get to meet a drop dead gorgeous 6 month old girl by the name of Taz. Taz, has a few issues, as you're about to read, which is why she needs that EXTRA special forever home. She is currently in care with Hunter Animal Rescue and is located in Raymond Terrace, NSW.

"Taz went in for her desexing and had a little more done than what was expected. When she came into care I noticed her eyes were a little funny and she couldn’t walk properly, seemed to be a little off balance. After consulting with the vets it looks like she possibly was hit by a car at some stage in her short life. She has a detached retina which has caused her to be blind in one eye and she had a dislocated hip. Taz had an operation on her hip that hopefully in time will allow her to run around freely like any other kitty."
