Auguste and 1% for the Planet Partnership

In December we partnered with one of my all-time favourite fashion labels - Byron Bay eco brand, Auguste the Label. I have loved Auguste for years for their environmental stance, and of course their beautiful designs. They are dedicated 1% for the Planet members and have partnered with other amazing conservation orgs such as One Tree Planted, Port Macquarie Koala Hospital, International Animal Rescue, The Australian Marine Conservation Society and the Orangutan Land Trust. And now African Cat Project!

Auguste are an ethically made label, they use eco fabrics such as hemp, organic cotton and recycled polyamide for their swim range (which is 100% regenerated from pre- and post-consumer waste including discarded plastic, fishing net and fabric scraps), are plastic free and on 17th December, ran a promotion where they donated $10 from every order from their animal print collection to us. Their promo had a great response with 136 sales in 24 hours – meaning a donation of $1,360. We are so super grateful for their support!!! The following week I went to Byron to catch up with the lovely Carmen from Auguste and talk all things leopards, leopard print, and this amazing planet of ours. Make sure you follow them on Insta because they have some more awesome enviro campaigns coming up this year!

Also, watch this space and our Insta for an online fundraiser coming VERY SOON featuring some Auguste items!

Another amazing opportunity that arose from that collab was a partnership with 1% for the Planet. HUGE thank you to Auguste for recommending us as a non-profit partner!!!

“The intent of 1% for the Planet is to help fund these diverse environmental organizations so that collectively they can be a more powerful source in solving the world’s problems.” — YVON CHOUINARD, Co-founder.

I’m really excited to have the opportunity to build more connections with environmentally-minded businesses and individuals around the world through this partnership with 1% for the Planet. THANK YOU!
