Namibia 2019 - Erindi
I always like to combine business with pleasure, so after my visit to our leopard project, I spent 5 nights at Erindi Private Game Reserve for some safari time! Erindi is a 70,719 hectare reserve of pristine wilderness, home to all your favourite African animals - lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, rhinos, elephants, giraffes, zebras, pangolins and so much more!
Erindi have undertaken an immense task to pursue conservation initiatives in the name of eco-friendly tourism. They have their own conservation programs in place, have a strict two car policy per animal sighting, and empower their local communities. Erindi is home to rehabilitated and released animals such as cheetahs from Cheetah Conservation Fund.
Erindi has two camps - Camp Elephant, which is self-catering accommodation, and Old Traders Lodge, a luxury all inclusive lodge which comes complete with two game drives a day and your very own knowledgeable guide. I stayed at Old Traders Lodge and am very grateful to Erindi for having me. It was such an amazing experience and I will definitely be back!
